extrapolating beauty

some things can't be photographed, yet the eye sometimes stimulates the optimistic mind to see more than may be true

from the corner of my eye, as i cycled to work down wandsworth high street at half past four this morning, i saw this australian guy skateboarding up the other side of the street with all the strength and grace of youth, carrying in front of him a huge bunch of white roses that gleamed unreally in the light of a huge full moon

i doubled back and he obliged me with this brief pose

as your eyes can see, he's not pretty or elegant, but the beauty of the moment brought tears of joy to my eyes
