i've been waiting for the chance to photograph battersea reference library in this light

  1. What a pretty building. It looks quite diminutive, and the basic shape like they could have been made from a set of child's building blocks. You were right to wait for the light for the detail.

    it is a low building but there is plenty of room inside and it is often packed out with serious adult students

  4. Such a satisfying building, its lines and detail all of a piece. As an erstwhile reference librarian I love the idea of a dedicated building - usually we are an adjunct, stuffed somewhere upstairs.
