i was reading the stickers in a queue of cars in bow, east london

fathers 4 justice have been in the news lately and one is tempted to sympathise distantly with anyone cut off from their offspring

however ... the other stickers are worth looking at

R.I.P Dave Kane


Anyone who remembers his infectious laughter will be sad to learn that Dave Kane has just died.
I'll post a picture of him when I can unpack the right box.

I owe Dave and his wife Jan much gratitude for many kindnesses so my thoughts are with her & their daughters, Hannah and Alice.

i read a few epitaphs and felt a great sadness that i'd never know these people

i consoled myself with the thought of dylan thomas' "under milk wood"
