june and tony

three weeks ago today, tony westall and i met in the street outside his garden gate in lacock

sadly, i was in a moving car whilst tony was moving on foot, pretty fast

some very nice men came to take him away in a helicopter whilst his mum and dad both took the trouble to comfort me !

since then he's had three operations including a complicated bit of bone-grafting and things are looking good

as you can see, they aren't the sort to let a little bit of pain get them down !

hambleden church ... the d'oyley family

a horrid day using the satnav to get lost in the thames valley when a decent map might have saved hours ... i ventured into hambleden church to soothe my eyes for twenty minutes, although the exterior promised little ... and found yet another splendid family memorial ... from the 1630s this time
