it has cost a fortune in bus fares
today we were lucky to finish work early ( before dark ! ) and so i cycled very slowly home through battersea park, across albert bridge, and on past the old chelsea power station
there was no sunshine, but enough light to see some detail and texture

I was once told that the only person who lives in Battersea Park is a monk that lives inside the pagoda and keeps it clear of leaves etc. Probably nonsense.
it may have been true, but no longer seems to be the case ... the whole thing needs renovation before dilapidation sets in
