The Sackville photos make me think that these people are having a picnic. Delightful. I didn't know that Victoria Sackville West was buried there. Though one might have guessed. Have you read Pepita-the account she wrote of her Spanish gipsy grandmother?
i will have to track down V.S-W's account of Pepita ... i've only just checked out vita on wikipedia & others ... her life sounds as if it was "full to bursting"
