of the seven deadly sins, the eighth and worst by far is emotional blackmail ... the diligent practise of this subtle and ancient art creates a constantly evolving darwinistic moral vacuum in which the brightest new manipulative ideas and stratagems flourish ... and which only you, or i, can fill !

the view from the cab at the end of the road ... looking across from sandbanks towards the studland ferry and the purbeck hills
i was sitting in the driving seat of a truck lloking down on that cyclist at the water's edge
the cheap gps navigator stuck on the windshield was loaned by my company so i could do someone else's round ... i usually do sussex, he does hampshire
the gps navigator annoys me because
1. it sometimes distinguishes between turning left and bearing left where there is more than one choice of lanes, even if the road and both lanes are curving right
2. it only processes the first five characters of our eight character postcodes, so you might often only find your way to a remote uninhabited point in the centre of a large neighbourhood

What is that on your bike? A GPS tracker? A DVD player? A videophone?
